2011: ERAS multicultual festival on Saturday 11. June
Dear all,
The Fourth ERAS Multicultural Festival will be hold at Youngstorget on Saturday 11. June 2011. This festival is financially supported by EMI, Oslo Kommune and arranged by over 20 immigrant organizations with people coming from all continents in the world. CPN has always been the main support and participant of ERAS festival since the beginning. This is a very good chance to show our rich and colorful Chinese cultural to the Norwegian people. And it is also an opportunity to show that Chinese overseas and immigrants in Norway are highly educated, industrious, and contribute positively to the Norwegian society. In another words, we must be visible in Norway. Hope our members will prioritize this event and bring your family and friends to join the festival.

IMDi seminar - Job hunting and seeking
Dear all,
Following the successful kick-off of our IMDi project 'Kompetansesenter for Innvandrere', we will have our second seminar about job hunting. We are very pleased to invite Ms. Marlena H. P. Bråthen from NAV to give us some general information of job searching for the spouses of immigrant workers.
Concrete advice like how to write a good CV will be given at the seminar also. Food will served between 16.30-17.00 together with networking.

A Successful Beginning of the Project!
Kick-off & Gathering of project ‘Kompetansesenter for Innvandrere’ was successfully held 6th May!
Dr. Xiuhua Zhang, the president of the Chinese Professionals in Norway (CPN, www.cpn2003.no) opened the seminar with welcome and a short introduction to project and CPN. Ms. Lisa Cooper, Top10 founder and CEO of Leadership Foundation, and Ms. Dilek Ayhan, CEO Alarge, have given very excited speeches and useful advice by sharing their own experiences working in Norway. 各位CPN会员，大家好！
在我们的共同努力下，CPN这个大家庭不断壮大，并越来越得到旅挪华人华侨以及挪威当地社会的认可。这是大家共同努力的结果，在此，感谢大家多年来对CPN的支持和帮助。
CPN理事会近几年致力于利用挪威的项目资金，让更多的会员参与项目运作，为CPN争取更多的活动经费，这些资金除了直接项目赞助之外，还包括组织的人头补贴资助，我们这两年一直在递交申请，然而，CPN始终没有得到这一赞助。原因主要有，缴纳会费的会员低于所要求的数目（一百人，会费高于一百克郎，通过银行付费，地址明确，并附有生日，成年人）。CPN理事会负责项目申请的成员非常恼火，据理交涉，但最终还是没有达成我们的愿望。其实我们有注册会员四百人以上，大部分会员也缴纳会费，包括银行转账，有的会员还两次缴费。但由于我们很多会费的缴纳方式有误，导致我们还是拿不到这部分补贴。
在最近召开的CPN理事会上，如何扭转这一局面成为重要议题之一，大家一致认为，这种情况发生实在与我们这样一个高学历的组织不相称，我们自己需要改进的地方很多，尽管我们一直把会员管理作为CPN理事会的工作重点之一。为规范CPN会员管理，让更多的会员按要求缴纳会费，除了要求每个会员尽缴纳会费义务之外，更应完善具体管理措施，更好的为缴纳会费的会员服务，特做如下决定：
