Why we do this
- The mail server has been over-loaded for a while. We need to keep the list shorter for a better performance.
- Some friends do not want to get the message sent through the mailing list.
- We need space for newly joined members.
The plan
- Week 3: send out the first request for confirmation of email to be kept in the mailing list.
- Week 4: the 1st reminder of the request.
- Week 5: the 2nd / last reminder of the request.
- Week 7: the emails not confirmed will be removed from the mailing list.

这次清理邮件列表，主要是清理其中一些已经无效的邮件地址。我们初步估计，在约800个邮件地址里，有10-15%是不再使用的邮件地址，或者会返回错误信息，或者新邮件永远无人查看。
