(3) The moderator will cross check your subscription with other information available to see if further information is needed or not for the approval of your subscription. You will be contacted in necessary.
(4) On approval, you will get a WELCOME message and YOU ARE IN.
DONE.

To unsubscribe, send a blank mail to cook-unsubscribe@email.cpn2003.org
(1) You will get a mail asking for subscription confirmation in a while
(2) Reply the mail by clicking "Reply" --> "Send"
(3) You will get a GOODBYE message in a minute and it will not bother you further.

Usually, this happens when you just hit the "reply" button. If this does not work, simply copy the address and paste it into the "To:" field of a new message.

This confirmation serves two purposes. First, it verifies that I am able to get mail through to you. Second, it protects you in case someone forges a subscription request in your name.

Usually, this happens when you just hit the "reply" button. If this does not work, simply copy the address and paste it into the "To:" field of a new message.

I haven't checked whether your address is currently on the mailing list. To see what address you used to subscribe, look at the messages you are receiving from the mailing list. Each message has your address hidden inside its return path; for example, mary@xdd.ff.com receives messages with return path: -mary=xdd.ff.com@email.cpn2003.org.
