Seminar: A better start for immigrant workers and their family


The Chinese Professionals in Norway (CPN, http://www.cpn2003.no), in collaboration with other immigrant organizations, will organize in 2010 a series of activities aiming at providing information and assistance to newly arrived immigrant workers and their family. The planned activities are financially supported by IMDi (The Directorate of Integration and Diversity) and consist of three network-building gatherings, four seminars, and a web portal targeting newly arrived immigrant workers and their family.

The kick-off activity will be a seminar on the subject of job searching for the spouses of immigrant workers. The seminar will be followed by a welcome dinner for the participants. The agenda for the kick-off activity is as follows:
